It’s this time of the year again!

I know it can be stressful for some of you. Or maybe you’re just asking yourself if this Black Friday thing really worth it.

In this newsletter, I’ll show you how you can leverage BF2022 and how to make the most out of it!

Why should I create a special offer for Black Friday?

There are many reasons why you should create special offers for Black Friday. First and foremost, it's the best time to sell your products. Just check the numbers:

Black Friday 2019 saw 93.2 million buyers shopping online, and the sales hit an astonishing figure of $7.4 billion!

That’s the perfect day to convince people who wanted to buy your product but never did and attract new people to your website.

How to Market for Black Friday

1. Email Marketing

If you have an email list of free users - or people that subscribe to a lead magnet, now is the time to send them an email!

You can also email your existing customers with a great deal on a bigger plan.

2. Social Media Marketing

Post exciting content on social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Now is the time to stop building and double down on marketing.

Create some nice visuals and spread the word out there!

3. Create a dedicated landing page for BF

Creating one or a few landing pages dedicated to Black Friday is also a great idea. Of course, make it SEO friendly. Some search phrases related to Black Friday have massive search volumes.

You could also create some dedicated ads that redirect to these pages. It’s a great way to get some extra traffic (and the keyword price is generally not so high!)

4. Cross-sell with Discounts

If you have multiple products like I do, I would advise trying cross-selling.

Send an email to customers of product A about product B with a big discount. That’s, again, an easy way to make money!

5. Try a GiveAway

During the BF period, the customers can be tired of all the discount and marketing operations, try something different and offer something for free. This can be a good way to thank your existing customers and get new clients

Offer BIG discounts or free stuff.

For Black Friday, people are used to getting really BIG discounts. Please don’t do it with 20% off.

Go for 40-50% off minimum

Otherwise, you won’t get the BF leverage!

If you don’t want/can offer this kind of discount?

No problem, try:

  • Offer free shipping.

  • Offer free returns.

  • Offer free gift wrapping.

  • Offer free products (buy one get one free)

Don’t forget Cyber Monday!

If you didn’t have the time to do everything for Black Friday, that’s ok. Recycle your materials for Cyber Mondays!
